As much as we love seeing you all at the gym every day, this is your reminder to get outside and use your hard-earned fitness! It’s easy to default to a daily routine (read more about how routines are a good thing!), but it is finally the time of year when the weather is getting nicer and the great outdoors is beckoning. There’s a reason we hit the gym every week: to take on life with more energy, more enthusiasm, greater longevity, and have more fun doing it. If you suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out), you can always make up that workout you wanted to hit at one of our Open Gym sessions (check Zenplanner for Open Gym classes). So when you wake up on a sunny Saturday …
Get outside. Go for a run. Take a hike. Swim. Go rucking. Walk to a new neighborhood and explore.
Try something new. Roller skating is all the rage right now. Join a socially distant intramural sports league. Take a dance class. Go rock climbing. Learn to shuffle (it is harder than it looks).
Get in an outdoor workout. We happen to know of one taking place May 1 at 9 AM in the IKEA parking lot in South Philly. #FreeBritney
There is no limit to all the fun things you can do with your fitness. It might even provide some new inspiration and motivation for your weekday gym workouts!
