CROSSFIT

CrossFit is defined as constantly varied functional movements, performed at a high intensity. At Fearless Athletics, we work to build proper technique with proven consistency while maintaining a level of intensity that will allow all members to continue making progress. Because intensity is relative to the individual, we are able to modify all movements to ensure functional mechanics and proper execution > heavy weights + inconsistent mechanics. We combine Olympic Weightlifting, powerlifting, bodyweight gymnastics exercises, dumbbells, running, rowing, stationary biking, kettlebells, medicine balls, and so much more, to create the most well-rounded and effective CrossFit workouts in Philadelphia.

INTENSITY

The Intensity program–available only at Fearless Athletics–is a CrossFit-inspired high intensity interval training (HIIT) program designed to build cardiovascular endurance and muscular stamina. Often referred to as “CrossFit without the Barbells” Intensity uses dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls, bodyweight gymnastics exercises, running, rowing, stationary biking and much more, to create a high-energy, fun and extraordinary challenging exercise program. Just like our CrossFit programming, Intensity emphasizes form, function, and consistency in all movements and is universally scalable to all who are motivated and able to participate.

LIFT

 The LIFT program is home to Olde City Barbell Club, exclusively at our Penn’s Landing location in Philadelphia’s historic Old City neighborhood. Members choose from either a Powerlifting or Olympic Weighlifting program and are coached through the complex progressions under the eyes of our highly skilled and experienced staff. LIFT programming is unique in that our workouts also include targeted accessory work to ensure proper mobility and stability is being developed alongside the larger, more compound lifts.

MOVEMENT AND MOBILITY

The Movement & Mobility program at The Annex at Fearless Athletics, located just two doors down from our CrossFit South Philly location, features daily practices designed around the specific needs of our members. Classes such as Yoga for Athletes, Morning Flow, Stretch & Release, Yoga w/ Jake, and Range of Motion leaves members feeling refreshed, mobile, and ready to take on any task.

NUTRITION

The Fearless Athletics Nutrition Program helps men and women feel their best, look their best, and stay that way. No rules. No restrictions. Instead, we build healthy habits in small, incremental steps to create lasting and sustainable change. Our nutrition programs go beyond macronutrient coaching to help all clients build the skills needed to take ownership of their nutrition and lifestyle choices. The Fearless Athletics Nutrition Program is open to anyone–you do not need to be a member of our group fitness programs to receive nutrition coaching!

YOUTH

Fearless Athletics | Steve’s Club offers high quality CrossFit and training programming, leadership development and healthy lifestyle guidance to underserved youth in Philadelphia. Fearless Athletics | Steve’s Club fosters a community of developing athletes and reflective leaders to engage their bodies and minds to build physical and mental strength. 

Fearless Athletics also offers a weekly CrossFit Kids class Saturday inside The Annex, just two doors down from CrossFit South Philly. This FUNctional fitness class is for children ages 5-10 years old, and includes games and activities to keep children moving and learning while building physical fitness and endurance.
